has anyone every converted their G1 legend into a honda legend by swapping all teh logos into honda logos and the hub caps and stuff?

I was thinking about doing that, but I think it sounds more impressive to say "I drive an Acura" rather than "I drive a Honda". It would be pretty easy to do IMO, and you might even go with switching to honda wheels like turboviper.

Yea, when someone says "your honda is a nice car" i make sure they know its not honda and its Acura cause in my eyes Honda is like low class and Acura is higher class and i dont wanna be know for driving a honda.........haha

I agree...The reaction from most folks when you say you drive an Acura, the usually respond with "nice" rather than "oh" if you say Honda.

I drive a beautiful condition Acura Legend 2nd-gen but I still tell people that I drive a Honda. They say "oh really?" but when they see my car they are still thoroughly impressed. It's a Honda. That's not a bad thing.

I was over at the paint store the other day, having some paint mixed up for the rear bumper on the '86 sedan. Here's my conversation with the employee, after going outside to look at the car;

Employee: "So [looking in his computer] is that a Civic or an Accord?"
Me: "Uhh... it's an Acura.... Legend."
Employee: "Oh.... Okay."

Does the car look even look like a Civic for crying out loud? I mean really!

i get it a lot. when im at the gas station i forget what pump im at. so i say "the one by the white car" , he says " oh, the honda"

my mom even called my car a Honda, i dont know why it makes me mad. it is a honda basically, but theres a reason for the acura emblem. i guess it just looks like the accords of the same year.

i don't mind at all that my car is sometimes called a honda. honda is a very reputable name. no shame in saying you own a honda, afterall, pop your hood and what do you see? exactly. just my opinion. i love hondas, guess i'm being partial.

In my opinion just shave everything or keep it Acura but honda or Acura its stilll a Acura with honda on the side of the doors
