I've done a couple. it's really quite easy. you can make it pop open when you floor the car or by switch.

imho the car felt quicker with a full exhaust then with open headers. :dunno:

In many cases this is true, especially on NA cars.

It's about velocity. If you mount it after the y-pipe I would still suggest it.

It may not be a great idea on an N/A car because it needs back pressure for torque. With a turbo car, its all about flow, so an exhaust cutout would be beneficial.

It's all about flow either way. The 'needing back pressure' is one of those 'inaccurate' statements that circulates for some reason. It's all about velocity.
