e cut out - old idea but a good one.
In many cases this is true, especially on NA cars.imho the car felt quicker with a full exhaust then with open headers. :dunno:
It's all about flow either way. The 'needing back pressure' is one of those 'inaccurate' statements that circulates for some reason. It's all about velocity.It may not be a great idea on an N/A car because it needs back pressure for torque. With a turbo car, its all about flow, so an exhaust cutout would be beneficial.
