do you know of anyone that has actually put it on?e cut out - old idea but a good one.
sweet....i really wanna get one but i want the one with the switch, do you know anywhere i can get one and how much?I've done a couple. it's really quite easy. you can make it pop open when you floor the car or by switch.
wait what?In many cases this is true, especially on NA cars.
ohh thanks, yeah i might have to wait on this one then somewhat expensive for me right now lolIt's about velocity. If you mount it after the y-pipe I would still suggest it.
Race Ready Performance Electric Exhaust Cutout Kits - JEGS
ohh okay, yeah i was just wondering because of the sound it makes, i was wondering how it would sound on a g1 legend. It may not be a great idea on an N/A car because it needs back pressure for torque. With a turbo car, its all about flow, so an exhaust cutout would be beneficial.
kinda dumb question... but what does F/I stand for? lolyup. most of the cars i've seen with cut-outs were F/I. i worked on a srt4 once with a cut out but it wasn't electric.
ohhh okay thanks alot hahaForced Induction
did he have any videos of what it sounded like?DV8 tried one but never kept it on.
would i have to cut my piping to be able to put this on?It depends on what you are after and where you mount it From what i found just having the cat on causes enough back pressure which is only really needed at low rpm. If you mounted it after a high flow cat you may even see some small gains, but on a N/A legend its really just about the sound. You could hook a manual one up for almost no cost at all
