OBX makes them and they are available on eBay for about $350. Included Y pipe and "test" pipe (which is where your catalytic converter should be).

yes i know, but like i said, no one really talks about them on here, it seems as if something is wrong on not preffered with them... thanks though !

The majority of the members have the OBX brand. It's kinda seems like everyone knows about them so there's no need to talk about them. I had them on my 91 5mt coupe and plan to put them on my 93 auto and 94 6mt aswell. For $350, pshhh good deal :)

Yea I seen the same. I had a buddy install mine and he said it was one of the eaiser installs. Ill be taking this myself in a couple months on both my coupes. I never had an issue with mine?

I thought I looked at an old forum post and heard that they get very hot and the fitment is off ?

that was because they put them on the 3.5's and the 3.5 blocks are wider then the 3.2's at the heade area. i have 2 set but havent installed them yet as they are getting thermal coated.

So they are reliable for our 3.2 ? and is there any downside to putting them on ? is the thermal wrap to make them last longer ? since they get so hot ?

in order to cut down on the heat you will need to put dyno mat or some other type of heat blocking down under the carpet and the fire wall on the inside of the car. im doing that as well as the thermal coating. header wraps to me is a waste of time one of my sets had the thermal wrap on them cause i get them used for 50.00 so i couldnt complain but i tossed them.

Where exactly do you do the dynomat ???

Why do they get so hot, id really love some headers, i just dont like anything that may not be good for my car, so id like to do it right
well you could always stick with the factory set up as to be honest they headers dont give much more hp then a stock set up. to me they are more for looks.

did you ever put on that magnaflow cat ?
thats going on my wifes car not mine but not yet as she hasnt gotten to that point of the build yet.

since i have the little one on way, it may be a while til i can do this, but i can do it piece by piece. But theoretically, we can make our own custom exhausts OBX heads to cat, magnaflow cat, and is the stromung a cat back ?

yes if you get the b pipe other then that its just the muffler itself. save up but id be on it if you truly desire it because once they are sold out chances are gonna be slim when you to get them.
