DAMN!

If you could get the spec's for the actual exhaust manifold, and then start making headers for the car, and could posibbly make some, I'd buy a set. You could make a nice little bit of money. Just a thought.

not a teribly high amount of money remeber this has been attempted before with MANY promises and no outcome

Hotshot can make money selling low volumes of Sentra SE-R SS headers priced at $650 including flex pipe. I'd spend that much for a set of Legend Headers.

Of course, I'm older and have disposable income. Kids, well...

Hello again guys! been away for a few days. thanks for looking over my crappy designs. only had around half an hour to make those so, sorry about the one-pipe-only design. anyway, i would really appreciate if one\some of you guys helped me a little with measurements. i have a legend my self, but it is in "cold-storage" for the time being. if you could post a picture of a header gasket for example (if the two on each are is different, probably are, then post two..) in relative 90 deg. on, photoshop a few measures on it.. that would rock! i could model something looking like the real thing. also, a picture of the two headers themselves would help a lot.

Infact, i wasn`t aiming for a profit making new headers. just wanted to see if i could make a pair at all.. but if everything goes well, i wouldn`t mind shipping a few over to you guys.

at the moment i am thinking of making the headers in 304 alloy steel. (thickness measurements or other suggestions, please). From here there are two ways to go as i see it. either i can take the most difficult approach (but possibly getting the best result) by bending the whole pipe in one piece.. or i can bend the individual pieces and welding them together. the last one is the easiest, but i will have to cut some corners to make the pipes relatively smooth inside..

Try the Jba company. They specialize in V6 headers. I got set on my ranger with a new magnaflow exaust and custom cold air intake and i gained 28 horsepower. its worth a shot.
