Hey there,

I'm going to try to replace the drivers side headlight on my 96 RL. I realize I'll probably have to take out the battery to get to it. Any suggestions/warning before I go ahead? I have the code to my radio already

Just take it easy with the headlights, they are a TIGHT squeeze on these cars.

BTW, I grew up in Exeter Go Blue Hawks.

Grew up on the north shore of mass but recently moved up here. Cheaper to live

Napa is suggesting bulb 9003 but I thought the RL took a 9005/9006?

take a gander in your owners manual, it should tell what bulb is needed.

Ive had to replace both my driving bulbs and they are 9003's. there is no need to remove anything to get to the bulb on the pass side and on the drivers side, moving the radiator overflow out of the way give you plenty of room to work with.

I still have to replace my fog light bulb tho.


by the way, anyone know the fog light bulb # ?

It is a tight squeeze in those cars. I've changed bulbs on Mom's RL.
