I bought antenna from LEgEnD4LiFe , Jigga Man" desijigga786@yahoo.com . About seven mouths ago I send him MO for 65$ . I waited about a month then email him what's going on with my antenna, his answer was that Mike Diaz have him car and doing work on it and that he will contact him and let him know to ship the antenna. Since than I send one or two emails to him a week asking was up with my antenna. About 2 mouths ago I let him know that I don't need antenna and I need my money back. Few weeks later when i arranged pick up and ship the antenna to me . Finally the antenna was coming after way over 6 months. But that's not over, the antenna got to me rusted in few places with is ok with me, the tube was missing about an inch bc it was rusted out over the years. Well I didn't know that was a big deal until I started installing it. the wire to the antenna goes to that tube and the signal goes true that tube to the antenna mast .since the tube separated bc of the rust the signal couldn't go to the antenna and I did not have reception. Email Him back about it , he told be that the antenna work perfect on hic car when he had it. Talked ot mike show him a pic and he agree that's the antenna that come out if his car . I was nice after all about it and waiting 6 mouths for antenna that I wanted 35$ back for new tube so the antenna can work . That put him with 30$ for rusted antenna. Now he's telling me to fail a claim to shipping company bc the antenna is rusted/broke . OK if it came bent or broken I will but the tube is rusted and missing an inch and that didn't happen during the shipping.
I hope posting that will help resolve my situation since 6 months.

That is not good. I believe the outer metal tube is part of the ground on the antenna so that much corrosion can cause problems. LEgEnD4LiFe has been a good member so I don't hold it against him right now, but if I were him I would just refund the $65 as that little money is not worth the headache and bad reputation. I'm sure you guys will work something out. That amount of corrosion did not form while being shipped. I highly doubt even if some corrosion formed it would have chunked off that much material from the bottom.

:werd: I couldn't say it better. Although I do hope his other online communications were more clear than this post.
Later!

Shame!

Legend4Life should refund the money, NOT only because it's a very bad part, but for SEVEN months of waiting??

If Legend4Life doesn't refund the money, then I guess I see him as those type of people.....
first off, you dont know the story so shut ya face.

Second, that antennea mast looks like it was out naked for a while. I have no doubt it was out, but i do have doubt as to whether or not LeGeNd4LiFe had any knowlege of it looking like that comming out of the car. I dont think he knew it looked like that.

either way, ronny, just give the man his money so he doesn't try to make you look bad.

True, there are two sides of the story. However, how can someone NOT see that it was rusted like that when removing it from their car?

I learn do not buy anythign that you don't see in what condition is, and don't sell something that you don't have ready to shipp.

The thing about it is, the antenna worked when I removed it, even with the rust. So it had to be somewhat damaged during shipping. I don't know, but when something works before you ship it, then when it gets to it's location and it is damaged, I think you should probably file a claim.

i sell a lot of parts to people over this and other forums and even locally and if i had a part like the one i saw in the pis'c i would throw it out even if it did work because it has to be cosmetically ok too.i only sell the cream of the crop parts from the car's that i salvage.

Mike why are you saying "the antenna worked when I removed it, even with the rust." and in next post you saying "The car never had a radio in it, so I wouldn't know. THe only thing I did was remove the antenna and send it out."
so what's the deal here???

What crawled up your a55 and died, GangBang?? A freaking horse?
Don't tell me to shut my face because what I said was within my opinion, so shove it. I didn't even flame Legend4Life. Also, rust is obvious, and 7 month wait is ridiculous. At LEAST djpolak could have an update on why it takes so long to ship.

BTW, you're such a big Gynovikka man, LOL!

dudes

similar thing here, long story but simply put:

1- 5 gs rims and "good" tires (one was down to the wire) at $900 (which after a few sells i've realized is an incredibly high $$) :(
2- over 2 months wait (when it was promised w/in 5 days after receipt)
3- now, 3 rims were lost in delievery

same seller, same story. Granted he's coming through by handling the claim, the bottom line is it took 2 months, a load of emails, and several calls (i've programmed his number on my phone! :eek2: ) just to see the two rims i have now.

there's no beef, but to me, he can definently make all this up by handling this new problem, esp now that I REALLY REALLY need the rims.
