similar thing here, long story but simply put:

1- 5 gs rims and "good" tires (one was down to the wire) at $900 (which after a few sells i've realized is an incredibly high $$)
2- over 2 months wait (when it was promised w/in 5 days after receipt)
3- now, 3 rims were lost in delievery

same seller, same story. Granted he's coming through by handling the claim, the bottom line is it took 2 months, a load of emails, and several calls (i've programmed his number on my phone! :eek2: ) just to see the two rims i have now.

there's no beef, but to me, he can definently make all this up by handling this new problem, esp now that I REALLY REALLY need the rims.

Well, that doesn't look too good on the seller's part.

i didn't mind at the time b/c of the convience, i really needed wheels and tires, and he said i'd have them by the end of that week... but after the time it did take, $900 now clearly appears to be very high.

Mike why are you saying "the antenna worked when I removed it, even with the rust." and in next post you saying "The car never had a radio in it, so I wouldn't know. THe only thing I did was remove the antenna and send it out."
so what's the deal here???

Stevieray sent me a radio a few months ago to give to MikeD when he came over, so I tried out the radio in Imran's car and I know the antenna went up and down. I never tried to get reception, because I found that the face of the radio didn't light up because it was broken. I tested it for about 1 minute, but I know it went up and down. I do not know about the reception. Sorry for not making that clear.

 

I bought antenna from LEgEnD4LiFe , Jigga Man" desijigga786@yahoo.com . About seven mouths ago I send him MO for 65$ . I waited about a month then email him what's going on with my antenna, his answer was that Mike Diaz have him car and doing work on it and that he will contact him and let him know to ship the antenna.

When putting an item up for sale, the item should be ready to be shipped when sold. Obviously if Legend4life didn't have his car with him, he shouldn't have been selling the part. Also if he had the car with him during the time of sale, then right when it's paid, it should have been removed. From info provided, it just seems like shady sales person. Reason why I never do personal trasaction over the internet, I rather do it through a third party (ebay) and pay with third party (paypal). There were several times where I had to file disputes and received all my money back.

BTW, this reminds me of my incident with a guy on ebay that sells books. I ordered a Biology outline book - for which the description says "FAST SHIPPING". Obviously I need it for my class. It never came after my course was OVER. I filed a dispute and got all my money back. I emailed the seller 4 times within that period and finally warned him that I will file dispute. After I got all my money back, a week later, I got an email from the seller.... "Did you recieve the book yet? When you do, please leave a positive feedback". LOL, shady sales people!

 

same bad story with legend4life

well i wasn't going to post this but after reading both stories with imran, i'll say that i had somewhat of a bad run-in with him.......and he'll probably put the blam on me.....this happen a year or 2 ago..

so heres my story...i bought the philips 6000K hid kit...from autolamps online....it cost $569 i think....i never got around to install it......it was in brand new condition...never installed...i only took it out of the box to take pics....

well as some of you know autolamps reversed the harness or something with some of the kits....its no big deal and can still be installed and works fine.....do a search if you want to know exactly what is the deal with kit....

well i sold him the kit.......and he thought it was messed up.......i told him what needed to be done and he installed the kit in his car....it worked and everything was cool....

about 2 or 3 months later...i get an email from him saying how 1 light is bluish, while the other is yellow and wants me to call autolamps to get him a new one.....i told him basically no way and that was that....

let me say though, that i'd never do business with him again

 

hmmmmmm so everyone is ganging up on Imran, however it wasn't in his ability to inspect the part pre-postage. and it wasn't in his ability to send it out sooner as the car wasn't in his possesion. it's a 3 way mix-up and it could have been solved by ALL THREE of you talking and not dragging this out.

Hell i got dirt i can drag out, but i dont because i try to take it up with the people i have problems with on a personal message (private message, email, blah blah)

what crawled up my ass? what always makes me upset is people who try to make judgements on ONE side of the story...all you heard was Imran sent a bad part and wont refund the money. what you dont kno wis why it took so long, what may REALLY MAY have happened during delivery and who else was involved and everyone's situation.

you basically tried to pin it all on Imran and he's not the only one responsible. so unless you know the whole story, sit down, STFU, and listen so you can get ALL sides. and THAT'S where i am, unapologetically, comming from.

i kind of would like proof that that is the antenna that was shipped to you. i have talked to imran for a long time on and off the forums, and he has always been standup to me.

but. It seems to me that all of you are siding with whoever came up with the story. what makes you think that he didnt take that off his car (he had to have a broken piece to want to buy a new one) I am not siding with anyone, I just think that the members are siding with DJPolak because Imran has not been able to say anything.

Stuff like this should be dealt with personally, not on the forums. Do you really think anything good will come of it? Get each others phone numbers deal with it that way, not on the boards. Especially not in the 2nd gen section. At this point, I have no reason to believe that DJPolak is telling the truth. I would assume Mike would not ship out a part that looked like that (obviously messed up, and probably not working correctly). And Imran would know if his own part was rusted when he gave mike his car to work on.

Also. He might have put it up for sale when he still had his car, and someone offered to buy it while Mike still had Imrans car.

 

after 6 months of dealing with it and not getting any where i am glad he posted about it. i am not saying anything bad about imran, he;s a cool guy, but i know djpolak, and he wouldnt lie about the antenna, he has been telling me about it for a LONG time, and all the difficulty he has had dealing with imran. i know aquapura pretty well too, both of them are definately stand up guys. if mike didnt ship the part with the rust he woudl have clearly said that. mike has nothing to do with this, none of this is his fault. he was just made the middle person for no real reason, he basically was doing a favor by getting the stuff out for imran and mailing it.. none of this is said to offend anyone, so dont take it in that way.

On the other side, this topic shouldn't be discussed in public forum unless someone was hurt or the transaction was a scam. It should be resolved privately... In addition, DJpolak should have tried something more than phone calls or emails in resolving this kind of problem... I mean 6 months of waiting is a lot, you should have cancel your order after 6 weeks.

Anyway, you could file a small claim in your local court - hey that's more than $20 minimum so it qualifies.

Shiet this is the same guy that let me borrow $250 when i really needed it two years ago without meeting him in person, its the same guy that i let him use my house for a week.If imran knew that the item was in that condition i know he wouldnt of sent it out. Mike diaz was not at fault because he was just shipping what he was told to ship out. Imran has told me about him not able to ship out the parts since he did not the have the part with him. I was in his car before he turned his car over to Diaz, and the antenna worked fine.

Jigga your comment had nothing to do with this topic. When imran had the issues with the bulbs, he did not put the blame on you. You just wanted to add more drama to this subject.

Imran and DJ should finish this subject on the phone. We have nothing to do with this.

thats the thing dood. He didn't know if it was in good condition or not. Mike D explains that he only knows the antenna goes up and down. But reception was never checked. I wouldn't want to pay that much money and wait for 7 months for something that doesn't work

 

From what I can understand from reading The conversations between the two of them (DJpolak & Imran). It seemed that DJ wanted to be refunded 20 Bucks and keep the part. Thats not how it works fellas. Imran said he was more than happy to take a refund when I talked to him a couple weeks ago, but DJ was saying he wanted the money to repair it.

Now,

1) If you sold an Item that was known to work and didn't know it had any problems, would you ship out 33% of the money he paid you to compensate for a problem that could merely be cosmetic?

2.) When you're buying a used part you're buying a USED part. If its faulty dont beat around the bush, just get a refund, as Imran would have done, or keep it to AIM or PM's.

3.) To come on here and try to get a group of people that have known one man for years and the other for a few months to take the side of the one for a few months is ridiculous.

4.) If need be, we can start a thread of happy buyers that have had no problems with his sales.
