I have a 1987 Acura Legend Sedan 4Dr and i just recently got a CD player installed in it but the speakers are kinda blown in the back but their not 6x9's like the guy at best buy said does anyone know what the front and back speaker size is and the old system wasnt a bose.
Thanks
Logan
P.S. the diameter is 8" but they dont make 8" speakers hmmm

Welcome!
If my memory doesn't fail me, 89legend-ls is right. If your sedan is anything like my 88L coupe, it's very east to remove the rears to take a look. Mine are accessible from the inside. Just pop the cover and remove three screws. Please proceed with caution as I don't want you to break anything if yours is different.. ;)

Hey Logan welcome to the forums...you are most likely right about the size being 8". Most 86 and 87 Sedans, had eight inch rear speakers and four inch fronts (Pioneers all around I think?)

Mine were all thoroughly thrashed when I aquired my car, so I replaced the fronts with 5.25" Rockford Fasgates and the rears with 8" Legacy's...They all sound great...

The Legacy's are great for Mid-Bass as I'm sure any 8" speaker would be...here's a couple links to help you out dude....
