PM Jose3030 as he has done the HID conversion! There is ZERO comparison between HID and the 9005/9006 or any other low rent modification to the housing, bulb, or harness.

HID Conversion
I just accuired a 94 Legend 4D. I love it!! One of the first things I want to do is upgrade to HID headlights. I don't want the super white blulbs. Only the real deal will do. I'm having trouble finding conversion kits that will work for the legend. i searched around the board but couldn't find a clear answer. I'm just curious what brands are out there, how much they cost. Every response will be greatly appritiated. Thanks!

a few more questions for ya:
how much does that kit cost and where can i get it?
does the HID run hotter than the standard halogen, should i be worried about possable cracking of the glass?

HID's run at 35W compated to 55W for a halogen. Although it runs at a higher voltage, if actually is cooler than halogen. You can't tell, but either way, there will be no melting of anything. Your headlights are made of plastic unless you have teh EDM lights, but you are safe either way.djLegend said:a few more questions for ya:
