Hey guys, I'm not sure, but I think I recall reading a while back about a Homemade CAI? I know Leon's posted one, but I was wondering if there are any that can be made without purchasing an intake, perhaps using the stock intake tube? Thanks in advance

Take off the stock air box, and resonator.
Purchase 2 plumbing 3" 90* bend NOT PVC but Rubber
also purchase a 3" PVC tube
total $25-$30.
I'll post pics...this is a Cold Air (RAM AIR)
The filter sit exactly infront of the fog light cover.. take that off two and mesh it...I'll upload about 4-5 pics on it...just e-mail me

I am not sure what kind of PVC you are talking about, but most PVC will surely melt if exposed to engine bay temperature for too long.
