I don't know why it would be dangerous, all you have to do is make sure your struts are in good condition (if not replace) and check all bushings. The only dangerous part is installing parts that you don't know how to.

All 90-97 Accord lowering springs will fit, but you might want to use accord struts (with stock legend top hats) to get the desired height.
