AS we all read here before, many owners have attempted to do parts swaps from high trim levels on their cars. The on;y true way to tell what trim you have is by the VIN #. The VIN # tells you what trim level you have, no ifs, and or buts about it. It will also tell you what year you have, and what tranmissions type you have. If anything on your car doesn't match what the VIN # says, than you know it was added on, or swapped in.

Is there some chart that we can use to determine any changes, i.e. a part of the vin number that describes all of these aspects of our Legends?

I believe the Legend Temple describes what some of letters and numbers in the VIN#'s mean. I think if you go to the technical scrolls section and click on VIN numbers, you can find your answer.

If you want, you can join the Acura Owner-Link. It will tell you color, trim level, and a few other things, plus outline some maintenance and other things. URL is http://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/

Manual passanger seat on the L, at least as for all the North American Legends. Not sure about any other countries. However, what is your VIN #. You don't have to post the entire thing, but post the at least this part: KA827, or KA826. Your Legend should be one of those.
