i have a 92 legend LS 4 door auto. my car has 164k miles. the transmission is all original but i would like to know how to figure out when the transmission is starting to slip ? when it starts to slip, do i have to replace/rebuilt the tranny or if there is a way to fix that? I changed the transmission oil at 150k miles with honda auto oil and i will change it again at 170k miles.

thanks a lot for the input.

anyone?

can someone please give information about this ? thanks
it will feel like it is shifting into neutral when it shifts, but it will stay there, if you drive it hard you will notice it more, cause it sticks in neutral for an extended period of time.
thanks. can you fix it ? or does it need to be replaced with rebuilt or used tranny ? thanks.

Or it stays in a gear for awhile without shifting up or down, Rpm goes way up when it's stuck in a low gear as if you are manually not shifting.
