if I got custom 2.5" cat-back piping added to it? is it recommended? Or should i stick with stock piping as that is what the Remus is dyno tuned on? Thanks in advance :)

The Legend Specific Remus had the piping needed to hook up just like OEM i think.. I beleive it's the Greddy that needs the extra piping cause it for thr Coupe only and to fit Sedan it needs the piping...

Legend Specific Remus
I'm just assuming, but that is for the sedan, right? I hope so, because it looks so good!
let me get this right, so the remus exhast system does not need an custom piping. It fits perfectly? and does ne one have dual exhast of remus?
so you guys are saying the remus is cat-back? I'm asking about fabricating a cat-back set up with remus :)

The Remus Legend Specific that I posted above is for All G2 Legends Sedan and Coupe.. To my knoweledge it fits just like OEM. Most everyone on the forums that has a Remus has that one. From Acuralegend.com (Coupe) to LegendGS (Sedan).

I'm not to sure if the Remus is a cat back... but I do know that the Greddy is a TRUE Cat-back..
The Legend specifc Greddy is a cat-back, the Legend specific Remus is NOT.

The Legend specific Remus bolts to the 3 bolt flange. From the 3 bolt flange to the cat there is another small piece of piping.

To get a custom piece bent from the 3 bolt flange to the cat I think would be a waste of money. Adding the exhaust in the first place isn't going to give you that much HP anyway.. The only way to get real power is to get a full exhaust from the engine back, which nobody has been able to do anyway. So to put a couple foot piece of custom bent pipe that is another 1/4" more in diameter will do you no good, except drain you wallet. Just my .02 cents.

The Greddy is going to give the best performance possible out of any exhaust that is out there right now. The only way to get any real gains out of doing an exhaust right now is to add on a CAI and also get the stage II chip from Bayou. I think that someone right now is working on copying the EEPROM from one of the chips to see if we can find a cheap way to copy them.
when i got a universal muffler on my old legend i did feel a difference, it wasn't whopping, but it did change my powerband enough to allow me to merge much easier, rarely having to floor the pedal, it may not be so much as how much you gain, but more where the gains are. I'm going for the remus mostly for the looks, and nice exhaust tone, any performance gains are welcomed as well :) But i don't feel our cars really lack performance, i'm impressed with my car everytime i hop in :)
