What did you do on the rear exactly.

You roll the fender and moved out the inner fender, so I can see it on the picture with the two arrows, or moved you out the whole fender line?

You wrote your car is lowered, but have you a chamber kit? And what tires are these, Bridgestone S03?

Sorry for my bad English

jdm and edm are both very nice. but jdm is a 1 piece and much more expensive.
not even close.

a full EDM setup will cost BOUNDS more than some ole 1 peicers and they are set up to work MUCH BETTER on for US roads then 1 peice headlights, since if you get them from Germany the driver is on the left hand side of te car like the US. Plus the EDM setup looks lik eits one peice but the actual headlight assembly is debateable. perfect combination would be the EDM coners on US headlights. for looks and performance:D

WHat difference does it make what side of the car the driver is on? well when aiming headlights are generally aimed to the right side of the road to lower chance of blinding people when they are in full effect especally on dark roads. look at your beam pattern the left headlight will always seem to be lower and further tot he right then the right one. this is to keep down glare. When you buy JDM 1 peaice headlights, the pattern is opposite and as such cause the light to be aimed directly at on coming traffic. this can get you hi beamed even with your low beams on. i haven't understood teh crazy for JDM headlights they serve only to look good (which is another point that is debatable:p)...same thing with the corners....but you wont be causing temporary blindness to other with those.

im keeping my US parts and gonna get those EDM corners when ever i can!

Sorry sput for hijacking your Thread Back to how you did this...

Sput: are you a body panel repair professional? and in the rear. you have full travel of the rear wheel without rubbing any where?

also how long did it take for you to make that fender piece.

Macworld: Hood is from the 4dr EDM Legend and it hasn't changed to anything. It is as it was originally. And yes, I live in europe.

Hondalegend: Nice to know that there are other european Legend owners here beside MikeD and myself. And for the rear, I roll the fenders and moved out the inner fender with the sledgehammer. Didn't move the whole fender line. Only the bump in inner fender was moved/flattened. Car is lowered with konis/eibachs and I don't have the camber kit. Tires are Bridgestone Potenza S03 as you guessed.

Bang&Olufssen DK: Thanks for pointing out the differences between EDM and JDM lights. And I'm not professional with anything associated to cars. Just interested doing things and have no prejudice at all ;). And the rear is free to travel fully without rubbing.

The whole conversation was made in one weekend. I bought my rims/tires in friday afternoon and noticed there's no room for them to roll freely. If it hasn't been weekend and the shop wasn't closed I'll propably got those rims back to shop and changed them to something with higher offset. But in that day (luckily?) I had this crazy vision about widened Legend and now you all can see what widened Legend looks like :)

And I forgot to tell that I had to adjust the hood a little bit up. After the fender job was done the hood was about 3 mm lower than sides of my car so I put couple of washers to both side and leveled the whole thing up.

One more picture showing the side profile. Notice how wheels fill those fender archs nicely.

Man .... that's what I need to do. My camber is off and I need to install my camber kit. Problem is that my new wheels (guess who's....) are only about 1/16" from my fender. If I install the camber kit, they will hit the fender. I think I need to mold fender flairs though....

Wow. Your car looks awesome Legendtoo! The wheels are like they're made for your car. Nice body kit too.

I often wonder which one is nicest looking: KA7 or KA8. Your car goes pretty high to my top ten list of best looking legends, without a question. The kit and wheels finalizes legends awesome shapes.

Never work with KA8 thou. Have heard that KA8 have less room in back and the back is more difficult to mold than the front. Be careful with the paint if you're molding the fenders. My car was going to painting anyway so I hadn't have that to worry about.

What profile are you're tires? And what offset are those rims?

Wow, your coupe looks amazing, can I have a kit just like yours? You know your car is dying to have a twin ;)

great job on the fender extensions...and the fact that you didn't have to make new parts had to be a bonus. and the corner lights look fine...you would be hard pressed to find some to say "it looks great, except for those damn corner lights not matching up..." and if you did, F*** 'em!!!

Man... that looks sick! I was thinking of pushing 245 on a 18 x 8 wit +52mm offset but I guess i'll have clearence issues once I drop.

Havn't others pushe 235 without any rubbing issues? Maybe coupes have more clearence than sedans in the front.

My tires look so skinny now cause I got my snows on which are 215 (normaly put 225 on a stock wheel).

Nice work! :2cool:

Rims are 17" and 7,5" wide. Offset (ET) is +42. Tires are Bridgestone Potenza S03, and are sized 235/45.
