when do the ecu show me the diagnosis codes?
i have understood that the ecu is located somwhere between the passengers feets. my legend stored at least 1 code yesterday. my car is far away from me now so i cant look at it and find out how to do.

have i understood right?

i turn the ignition on and just look at the ecu when it starts flashing the codes.. right?

and i wonder if the ecu remember the codes. or do i have to get the check engine lamp to flash again to see the diagnos code??

if the check engine light came on it means the ecu has a code and will remember the code as long as you do no reset it.

yes you have to turn the key to the ON postion and look for the code on the ecu.
thanx for the info zany

and how do i reset it? loosen the negative battery connection?

Disconnecting the battery will clear the memory but this procedure is not recommended friddis... memory should be cleared after the ignition is witched OFF by removing the appropriate fuse.

Remove the alternator sense fuse (7.5A) in the engine compartment fuse and relay housing, leave it out for atleast 10-15 seconds then reinstall, hope this helps ;)
thanx a lot. i will give the acura some time tomorrow.
i have figured out that i have to flush my alb system because the alb unit are veryy noisy some time and the alb lamp lights up some times..

does someone know how to flush it without special tools?

check out this site

it's for an NSX but the systems are very similar...you really don't "need" the t tool

ahh. found the ecu. it was to large for me =) i didnt know that a ecu could be as big as that. now i know. honda is strange. or acura? =)
i forgot the roof light on some days ago and my old strange problem is gone.. or the code is gone. i tried to stimulate errors like. disconnecting both lambda units.. this gave no result on the ecu. i was just reving the engine in the garage. perhaps the ecu dont read the lambda signals when the engine is cold. i disconnected the tps and now i found the code 7. yess now i know how it works. sooo simple....

i just want to know the code the ecu sat when the engine started on just tre or four plugs. but it is erased now. :( .

thanx for your answers.

and i think i am coming back with some other problems in a while.
i got to show some pics soon too.
