Well, I wanted to build my own custom Cold Air Box for quite a while and finally I did it. Let me know what do you think:

Thanks Doc, I used it because it's fast drying and doesn' t look glossy not so much for the temperature.RangerJoe said:you should try getting the boxes ceramic coated or powder coated. that would work much better than a high temp paint. all that means is the paint wont liquify until that temp, it doesnt block nearly any sort of temperature. the metal does a much better job at that.
What are those 2 big things infront of the A/C condensor?
they look like aftermarket horns to me...94LegendCoupe said:What are those 2 big things infront of the A/C condensor?
Ah, I see what you mean. Well you could probably get that powder coated for $15, and it would be a much stronger coating than the spray paint is, so you would not have to worry about it getting all scratched up..but thats just what I would do.stalker said:Thanks Doc, I used it because it's fast drying and doesn' t look glossy not so much for the temperature.IMO It's realy not worth the trouble of getting the box ceramic coated for such minimal gains.
hella horns to be exact, got the same ones in the same placeMckenzie93 said:they look like aftermarket horns to me...
