I dont think it is a problem. Most likely your engine is compensating for an increased load on the engine (power steering being used). One of the sensors in your car picks that up and tels the engine to pick up the idle for a bit. Just like when you use the AC.... your car will actually drop rpms at first then it will go back up because there is a load on the engine. Hope this helps....

Its bad to dry-steer your car anyways while its not moving so you should not have to do that....
