Hey, sounds frustrating. Was the Thermostat changed by shop? If so, confirm it is
an Acura T-stat, not an OEM equivalent. You may need to inspect it yourself to
insure the T-stat is the correct one and is oriented correctly (relief hole in the upper half.) Second item: have you tried bleeding air out of the coolant? That alone might solve your issue if it had a leaky hose. There are about 22 hoses in the cooling system. Sometimes it is hard to find the leaky culprit. If the hoses are old, a shop can create cracks in the process of leaning, pushing, pulling, etc. GL, Keep posting re progress.
