do aftermarket installers do a good job?

im worried about them taking off the trim pieces around the window. i dont want them bending them up which happened to a friend of mine.

i guess post your guy's opinions on aftermarket winshield installers.

Use an auto glass service. If, by chance, a moulding is damaged, they have to absorb the cost. When I had mine replaced by a mobile service, the installer did not adequately tighten the wiper arms to the shafts. When activated, both arms were stripped. The glass service only required an invoice indicating the cost of the parts.

The other problem is that the Legend windshield mouldings use several different clips. If one is broken during replacement, the body shop may have difficulty locating an immediate replacement. The glass installers have all the clips on hand.
