I wanna drop a manual transmisson into my 1991 acrua legend 2 dr coupe. Can anyone give me information on this? Is it possible, and about how much money will it cost? Thanks for your help, Andrew

As my ole autobody instructor used to say: "We can build you a new car around your old left door handle, given enough money and time". I believe someone may be in the midst of doing just this.
Haven't heard any updates for some time.

Please conduct a search. This question "raises its ugly head" frequently.

Speaking as someone with 8 yrs experience in autobody and ASE certified, I would not recommend this procedure. It will be less expensive to find and refurbish a worn out 6-Spd. The vehicle is not rare. With patience, you can find one and if its color is not to you liking, spend the money to have the car gutted and repainted.

Yup. This endevour is something only the most adventurous should tackle.

There are enough 5 and 6-speeds (especially coupes) out there that you would be better off selling your car and buying one with a factory installed manual tranny.
