Hi there. I'm an auto novice and had a question. I've got a 92 legend coupe, and recently in the last week or so, it has begun to idle low and shut off. It only happened about twice until today. It seems that now, whenever I come to a stop, the idle drops low and the car stalls out with no check engine light. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Sounds like you have excess carbon buildup in the throttle body. I would have that cleaned out and get the Idle Air control checked out. A vaccum leak as well as a stuck open EGR valve could cause this.

If everything checks out then have you idle adjusted. It is very simple to do with a flat nose screwdriver and the adjusting screw on the throttle body.

I would recomend that you take your car to a reputable mechanic to have this problem checked out.
