Today was a beautiful day in atlanta........................Until my tire blew out on me (luckily i wasn't going to fast ) . But that wasn't to bad because my homie LOSAUN ( FELLOW FORUM MEMBER) was on the seen with me and we change it in about five minutes flat . But later in the day as i was on my way home i noticed that my right turn signal light on the CLUSTER was blinking really dim . then about 5 mins. later i went to use the signals again they were out completely . So i said damn the fuse blew AGAIN , so no problem i replace it , So i then replace the fuse and still no turn signals or hazards , but on the flip side when i put my signals or hazards on i can hear it clicking , ticking ,etc. as if they were working , but i have no blinking no where at all on the cluster or turn lenses , front or rear . Can someone help me with this ?

THANKS IN ADVANCE

You own a Legend, blew a tire and popped a fuse and think you had a bad day? Just wait until you pop your head gasket :p.

C'mon guy's I need a lil input . I check and replace both fuses . Is there a flasher relay ? Although i still hear the clicking noise when i put the in the on position(hazards too) . Any suggestion on which route to go next ?

I got you Homey. I'ts probably your ICU Box. This is a diagram of where the ICU (Integrated Control Unit) is located. It is located on the rear of the interior fuse panel. The ICU controls all interior light functions including door lights as well as headlight corner light blinker lights. #17 is the ICU on the diagram.

Thanks , but i notice you said it controls all light functions . What if all the other lights are functioning properly ? Could it sill be that ?

Yes it can. The ICU has circuitry that controls all of those functions, but it doesn't mean that they all go out at the same time. You probably have a blown component on the ICU circuit board that has burned or shorted out that controls your blinking lights.

Get with LO huh.... He was with me when it happened

on the right, top of the fuse box in position #10 in the diagram, there is are a few wire harnesses grey in color make sure that the're securely fastened.its a tight spot but for some reason they become loose and cause the lights to do funny things.

Thanks to all for the input . It's fixed . It wasn't the ICU . It was another unit . not sure of the name , but looking on the diagram it was number 15 . Mad props to my homie Losaun for helping me trouble shoot the problem. :woot:

glad to hear this.
