I thought that my amp for my subwoofer was blown so I ended up getting a new Phoenix Gold QX900.1d. Now I have an extra Rockford Fosgate 360.2 amp that puts out 90Wx2 at 4ohms.

Now that you know kinda where I'm coming from... I can't decide on either the Infinity Perfect 6.1 components:

Or the MB Quart PSD 216 Components:

I can get them both for about $270, and they both are supposed to be great speakers. I'm just wondering if anybody here actually has experience with installation with any of these in a Legend, because 1) I want to make sure that they are going to fit (I heard that the Perfects are pretty long), and 2) I want to make sure that they are going to sound good :).

Thanks for any help you guys.

P.S. I took a listen to the MB Quart PSD's at Car Toys and they sounded great in he store... I just want to make sure that they are still going to sound great in the car and that I'm not going to be wishing that I got the Perfects instead.

Now I'm thinking though that I may just want to go with the models down like with the Kappa 60.5cs or the MB Quart DSD 216. It's basically $100 less then, but I'm not sure just how much better these other speakers are. Grrrrrr.... I wish that there was a place that carried both models.

go for the quarts. i have them and they sound great.

if you do get the dsd's and you want to upgrade the crossovers, i have an extra set of musicomp crossovers for them. i'll let em go for 50 bux plus shipping.
these xovers will essentially make u'r dsd's like psd's.
these were from my previous mb quart setup.

I'm positive that I'm gonna go with the PSD quarts now, but something just came up and I don't have the extra cash to buy them right now. I'll have to put this one off :(. Oh well, someday....

I haven't heard the quarts, but I have the perfects in my ride and they sound awesome! I dynamated my doors which did increase the midbass responce. Wow! The midbass is rockin! I've never regreted my Perfect purchase, and they are definately better than the reg. Kappa's. Had them too and while they're o.k. the perfects kill em!
