Hey guys,

I have talked to the guy doing electrical work for my mechanic, asking him about how much would it cost to install a pair fog lights properly - I also am having the front fender liners changed and I figured now would be a good time to do the fogs as well.

However he told me that fig light install is a big job and requires the bumper to be taken off (I thought that since fender liners and the wheels are removed the access to the holes normally covered by horn covers would be fairly easy) and in general would take several hours (at $80/hr) - ouch!

So, my question: do any of you have any tips/manuals on how to install fog lights on one's own? I have a 93 Legend L coupe.

Thank you!

lol i've removed my front bumper so many times it only takes me like 5 mins to remove the bumper. 2 screws in the turn signals and 4 1/2" bolts... haha u need a new mechanic if he calls that a lot of work.

are you going aftermarket or OEM? Micro Hella has some good aftermarket foglights (just picked some up).

Install is pretty easy. If oyu SEARCH "mirco hella" you'll get some good pictures of one dudes install. The only task is modding the aftermarket "on/off" switch to the OEM switch.

Its not that hard. It will prob. take about 2 hours to do at the longest. I just got done putting strobe lights in my high beams. Took me about 3 hours to finish to do all the wiring and everything all I have to do is put a Strobe Controller in and its totally done.
