Instrument cluster removal

My D4 light is burned out in my cluster. My car is currently in storage for the winter and I think it's a great time to fix the problem. Only thing is that I have no idea how to get the cluster out. I have a Haynes manual but it dosen't give real good instruction for removal. I remember a post on this forum with pictures pointing to the screws that had to be removed and in what order. If anyone can help me with my dilemma it would be much appreciated. Thanking all of you in advance for your continued help and support.

1. remove lower dash panel. To do this, there will be two screws on each side at the bottom. Then you have to remove your black Courtesy light/fog light switch panel to access the third screw behind that. The part around the ignition will pop right out.
2. Remove the guage cluster trim bezel. There will be 2 screws at the bottom of the cluster, remove those, then pull carefully around the edge to loosen it up, then you're gonna have to remove the plugs from the cruise, defrost, etc. Then remove the trim bezel.
3. Remove the guage cluster. Remove the two screws from each side of the cluster. Then there will be 2 more at the bottom, on each side. Remove those, and then unplug the harnesses from the back of the cluster, then remove the cluster.

Good luck, be careful as you can break the tabs off of the lower dash panel and the trim bezel.

First remove the lower dash panel. It's held in by 3 10 mm bolts: 1 at each of the lower corners and 1 more behind the courtesy/fog light switch on the upper left. You can pry the switch out using a small flat screwdriver and disconnect the 2 harnesses. Next remove the 2 screws holding in the black trim piece surrounding the cluster. These point straight up from the bottom front of the trim. One's on the right side near the ignition switch (it's kind of hard to see so get on your back and look up), and the other is to the left of the steering column towards the front. At this point, you can pry the trim piece away from clips that it snaps into. There are 3 wiring harnesses connected to it that you have to unplug. Once you've got this out of the way, you'll see 2 screws on either side of the cluster. Remove these. There's a wiring harness that connects to the cluster from the bottom maybe 1-2 more that connect from the inside (it slips my mind at the moment...sorry.). Unplug these and the cluster will be free to pull out. You may need to lower your steering wheel to allow for sufficient clearance. You'll see that the bulbs are accessible from the back.

EDIT: Sorry for the repeat post...I guess I was still working on mine when the other was posted.
