I have heard of many people with different makes and models doing modifications to their IAT sensors... Apparently this is done to artificially tell your ECU that there is colder air coming in, so that it can release more fuel...
Has anyone done this to their Legend? Just wondering, since it would be very easy to do and might give a decent horsepower increase. Especially since I live in WA where it gets up to a whole 70 degrees in the summer
One concern is that you will run too rich, especially at high RPMs (same problems with the older JR turbo IAT upgrade); but I think this could be overcome with a simple manual bypass switch (on/off) that you could flip once you hit a higher RPM/gear. Might help midrange... Any comments?
