In the next couple weeks i plan on lowering my car. However i do not know what springs i should go with. I have heard that Eibachs are a lot softer than most but also end up leaving you front higher than your rear??? I want to go with Intrax springs which will give me a 1.75 inch drop and i havent heard any complaints from people on these. I also have 17 inch rims on my car and i was wondering if they would rub with that much of a drop. I would be very greatful for any coments on my situation. thanks

In the way that your 17" would rub due to your wheel offset. As for Intrax Springs, I love my set except I really need Koni shocks. KYB's will probably do, but still might have the infamous upper control car problem. Your upper A are might hit the top of you wheel well, but if you can get dampeners set up right, you shouldn't really have much of a problem. That's why I wanna get Konis.

Find out what the wheel offset is on yours rims- It's usually printed on inside of the rim. If your offset is + 41 or better u should be fine. I also have 17in with the eibachs and my rims have a +35 offset and my car was undrivable b/c the rears would scrape like crazy- i never had any problems with the fronts.

Or if u can't find the offset u can try a visual check- just grab a straight edge and see if the tires stick out more then the fender. You also have to take into account that the wheel goes into the wheel well (from a bump or weight) the wheel goes slightly up and in. Does that make sense ?- You know when the shock and spring compresses the wheel just doesn't go up.

I didn't care for the uneven look of the eibachs- I actually just removed the rear eibachs and left the fronts on. I replaced the rears with the stock ones and now the car looks even. I'm happy with the look- It's not that low but at least I can drive it with my rims on.

I hope this helps
