What up forum, just joined not too long ago and hav 2 Q's for you shaar.First, how did you get your hdlght housn black.second, where can I get the wood trim for my htd seats?? bay the way the project looks awsome.
ummm where do i start with this one....

headlights - diy bake in oven, paint bezel black, put back in oven to seal.

wood - its jdm. no way you'll find 'wood trim' to go around your heated seats. notice the whole console is 100% different than yours. not just a buy/order locally kind of deal. Find an importer.

Shaar - it looks amazing! I'm thoroughly impressed with your initiative, ingenuity and results!!!

Okay, I want to help out in any way that I can. I have a few suggestions or alternatives to resolve some of the issues that are still outstanding:

1. As an alternative to your current deck, you could install a modded Xbox in your trunk. It works much like a carputer without most of the shortfalls. See here:
http://www.acura-legend.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=83745&highlight=xbox+trunk

2. My stubby MDX shifter still retains the full shiftlock safety feature. I've had it completed for over a month and love it. You know where to find the info on that! (i.e. your thread). PM me if you have any questions on what I did or need more info.

3. EDM Legends have a switch between the seat heater switches that controls the power-leveling headlights. I'm sure you'll never convert to EDM headlights and try to retain the full mechanics involved with that setup, but its a thought.

4. Until you figure out how to create a new parking brake (perhaps a parking peddle over the dead peddle?), simply turn your front wheels so that they roll into the curb whenever parking on a stree that has an incline/decline. In other words, turn the wheels toward the curb when parking down hill, and away from the curb when parking up hill. If the tranny ever gives out and allows the car to roll, it will only go a few inches until the wheel hits the curb! (This is something people should do anyways!)

Good luck!

hahahahahah you guys :giggle:

i can't wait til NLM07!!!!!!!!

also, i ended up breaking off all the vents on purpose becuase they need to be completely redone :) And no they aren't operational, i wish they were, but theres no room to run tubing behind it right now, i'll still have to work on it and figure something out. the top vents are somewhat operational, but not as i'd like them to be...

Yo--
Did you ever figure out the parking brake issue?
This mod is cool as hell, and it looks fuckin' hot in your black coupe.
I think that more people would do it if you could figure that out.

k.
keith i wish i had time and some extra spending cash to figure this out... i dont even quite know where to start with it. I'm wishing more and more that i could find an easy way for this parking brake to work out. I just need to find out how to get the cables from under the armrest to reach a foot pedal...

Unfortunately I know nothing about the parking brake,
but you can figure anything out should you put your mind to it.
You've already done the most difficult of the work.
Although, at this point, it may not be worth figuring out.
