what happens when you get rims with a higher offset than your car? i know the case is rare with our legends since we have a very high offset (45mm) but what happens when the offset is higher, do the rims not fit? just wondering cuz i've been thinking about it.

Actually, +45mm is 20mm lower than the OEM Legend offset. The Legend offset is actually +65mm :)

If you get a too high offet, the rim will eventually scrub some inner suspention parts. This is what that call back spacing. As the offset goes more positive, the rims tuck under teh fender and move closer to the car reducing the back space. When you go to far, you hit things like the control arms, and whatever else suspention part is in the way. Also, handling will suffer as you move the cars track closer together.
