I agree. Bras are hideous. A member just joined recently with a nice example of how a bra ruins the paint too, I'll see if I can dig up the thread.

But thats just my 2 cents, to each their own

I was considering the half bra, Does anyone have pictures of tyson's sedan?? the one with the full bra??? Call and find out I wouldnt be surprised if they had them for coupes.

Well my front bumper took a very small hit awhile back and now it just doesnt look that great IMO, So I think the bra will buy me some time until I get a new front bumper and paint it, but even then I love the top half of the bra because it says legend and so does my grill and it lines up perfect, then you pop the hood and BAM KMS Legend Bar. I'm going for a Legend theme LOL.

 

I had the full bra on until I had my bumper repainted, but now I only keep the piece in the hood and will use the bottom piece to protect the paint on road trips.

I'm on the fence about the bra. It is a HUGE pain in the ass to take it off and reinstall it every friggin time it rains b/c you always want it to look perfect (you'll see!)....but then again I'm in AZ And it does catch and hold some debri behind it sometimes....but I've also seen some nice chunks on it that would have been much worse on my bumper alone. For long term use, you really have to keep checking it, removing it, etc

as for the appearance, I think it looks awesome from the front but not so great from the sides. IMO it would look fine on a darker color car. It does grow on you though!

by the way, did you get the hardware kit?

It's just 2 push in snaps that replace one of the screws in your fender liner (each side). The bra has the pieces built in which then snap into the fender

 

HMMMM a hard ware kit???? I wasn't aware there was one, Is there a chance it comes with it??? Or has everyone had to order it separately?


I just called AOA they said it comes with the kit, but they offer it seperately just in case it breaks in the future.(hopefully the guys right.)

I think they look nice on dark cars. Delray has good prices on the nose masks as well. What do they mean by half mask? Is it just the hood piece? because that is what I am interested in.

 

Check out DaveCFPrez's sig, he's got the half mask, it's nice.

On mine, in the pic I posted I don't have the snaps installed. But I did self-install extra snaps to hold the sides back so it looks a lot better.

 

The Official half mask is different then just the top piece of the full mask, because it also has a part that covers the fenders too, its dope son.

 

Did you buy yours from a dealer??? and if so did the snaps come with it or no??

 

Got mine new a while back and the snaps did come with it.
