I bought mine at 201,000.... I'd do it again in a heartbeat !!
Congrats! I don't expect to make it to 200k driving only 2.5 miles to and from work each day.

Those are the toughest kind of miles to put on a car.
I know but nothing I can do about it unless I drive in circles on my way to work or quit my job and get one further away. :) One reason I switched to synthetic blend oil recently. I try to take it on longer trips as much as possible.
Hey I'm doing 3k a year. 35k left to 200k... Hmm I have to wonder whether I will ever make it to 200k
Congrats!!!

the question of the day is:
Why after making it to 200k would you WANT to sell it? :D :D :D
damn, i got my car i think in october at 140K
now its at 151K
Ahhh, Jiggy, yah beat me! I got mine in November, with 140k, I managed 147k so far. i cant stay out of my car. hah, should have lots more soon im thinking. Lots of vacations planned aftr i graduate.

i remember those days

those were the good days
I got mine in mid July last year with 181k, Now I have 204K. Not to shabby, that's what I get for going from Sac to TJ every once in a while. She's still having some tranny probs though, I get frustrated with her sometimes, but I never think of getting rid of her.

Didn't you just put in a new tranny not too long ago? or was that someone else?

When I got the G1 it had 114k, it was under 30day warranty and I went up a hill, and bammm.. tranny gave out. Guess they knew it was bad, tried to make me pay half, but they payed for it in full in the end after many talks... After which, it was fine, it seemed a little rough shifting in 2nd at times, then at about 120k I replaced part of the tranny oil with HondaATF. After which the car shifted so smooth, it was like a new car, and still is. My uncle, owns an 87, he too had his transmission repaired, before and after the repair he gets the "Flashing S3 Light". Appears to be a sensor. He's out of state a lot so he has not looked into it again.
Yeah that was me with the tranny problem before, it's really frustrating. I have had a thought to fix my baby up and sell her, but then I get to thiking about it and I just can't bring myself to do it. I am gonna have a choice between my 88 Legend Coupe and a 94 Honda Accord Coupe. I haven't seen the Accord yet, and I really don't want to sell my Legend, but if I end up doing that I would want to sell her to somebady from here who would appreciate her. I don't think it will come to that. I am sure that the Accord will fall victim to the sell, before my Legend. We'll see.
Gotcha all beat - I am a telecommuting programmer, only have to go to the office for meetings and that (except for recently), is very infrequent. Even then, it is only about four miles to the office. Mine is at 243K, wonder if I will ever get to 250 (haha).
