Had a blown head gasket...So I tore it down and replaced both sides. put it all back together and ever since i did this. I am getting a Code 23 (I assume if that is what 2 long blinks follwed by 3 short ones is) that I wasnt getting prior to the tear down. The Code 23 says left bank. So I replaced it and still get the code even after clearing the ECM. Car also has just quit running while driving a couple of times since then as well. All the times where at different speeds. So I cant figure it out at all. oh yeah The harness for the 2 Knock Sensors test out good...Any help would be greatly appreciated!

test the voltage from each wire to see if both knock sensors are still good.

Check the ECM ground bolt which is on the passenger side fuel rail. Make sure it is on there good.

How did you test the wire harness and diagnose the sensor? You had to remove the intake manifold to get at it, right?

You most likely have 2 separate problems. Pretty much any car will run without the knock sensor.
