Someone please help. I just got my car back with the Koni's and Eibach's. I like the way that it looks but the ride is really really bumpy. I thought that there really wasn't a huge difference between the stiffness settings from what I had heard.

ChrisK, didn't you say earlier that the full soft isn't very different from full stiff. My car is bouncing a lot even when I'm going on pretty flat roads.

Also, I have talked to lots of people who have installed there Konis/Eibachs with no camber kits, but my camber is so far off in the front and rear!!!

Anybody know why my ride is so bumpy?!?! Or did I just not understand and would putting them like back on the middle setting cure my problems?

Thanks for the help!!

Well, would 4/4 turns be full stiff, so are you saying that you have it 1 notch from full hard or one from full soft?

When I first got my Koni/Eibach put in, it was very bumpy, but as the springs wore in, the ride is very nice now.

As far as camber goes, if you installed the Eibachs sitting on the stock perch height, you will most likely not need a kit, but if you placed the fronts on the lowest perch, you will need a kit.

Yeah, I already have a kit, I'm taking my car to get aligned tomorrow, it needs it bad. I was having problems with toe in before my new suspension went on. Now it's real bad.

How long did it take for the ride to not be quite so bumpy and, what stiffness settings did you use?

Also, perches?

What is the setting that they come at, I had someone adjust mine for me so I don't know. But don't they come set somewhere in the middle? Mine are set as stiff as they go and I bet that that is why I feel like my ride is to stiff. ChrisK told me that there is little difference between stiff and soft, but I find that hard to believe with how harsh my ride is on stiff.

I was going to send you this as a PM LegendGS but your box is full.

Yeah, I've just cleared my box.

I believe that they come at or close to soft. I remember that after I had my struts and springs installed and while driving down the freeway, I could only imagine how silly I looked bumping up and down like some accords and civics I've seen. It did ease over time though.

Ok, well if that was happening to you at close to soft, then it can't be much different for me. I'm going to keep mine where it is for another 1000 miles, and if it is still to hard then I'll change it

Yes, try get your alignment, and let is settle for a while. I know I said there is not too much of a difference from either end, but I am basing this of my set I had which already had a lot of miles on it, and so was my perception. Maybe my perception is a bit broader than yours :) But anyway, geve it a few weeks first and see what happens.
