i have a choice between KYB and Monroe struts.
the KYB is cheaper but the monroe has a higher rating.
i ordered Monroe struts today, and ill be getting it tomm.
i dont care about drops or not. my struts are shot and wat not.

advice?

oh on top of that, i need to know how to pull off the strut. i kno i need the spring compressor. i looked at the pdf manual, but doesnt giv me a good ans.

which model of the monore did you eventually pick up?
dont monoroe come with a life time warrenty?

In my expereince, some monroe struts are no good... Ive seen way to many people i know having different problems with them and having to replace them..But, they do have a good warranty, they give you new ones easily but still have problems... I highly recommend KYB's, they ride hard at first but once broken in, they ride beautiful... It all depends on which model monroe you bought tho...

thanks mike, i got it done. pretty easy then i expected.

but heres a question. if it still squeaks after changin the sturts/shocks. what can it be? i have to finsih up the other side but ill let u guys know.
