What would be involved, in addition to getting the new controls, in changing an airconditioning control from the standard that comes on the L to the climate control on the LS. ECU?, Temp sensor? ANy thoughts?

Besides the control unit and temp sensors, the Heater-A/C units are different. I would also suspect several harnesses to be different and this probably includes the main harness as well as the front engine harness. Procure a copy of the wiring diagram from the appliable HELM and compare. Asian mfgrs typically install wiring harnesses which are model specific, so I doubt that all the necessary wiring is already present in the L model vehicle.

Yes! I was educated on this exact topic. I love climate control. I still might do it, just to show Leon LOL. I know it will be expensive for such a little touch, but I like the little touches. I am planning of getting serious about this in about 6 months. After I have it completed I will see about duplication. I do have all my work done professionally, which means I can have it duplicated for pretty cheap. I will let you know, but don't expect anything soon.
Later!

Gee, it almost sounds like doing all of this is a bad/crazy thing to do. lol I've actually thought about the whole climate control/courtesy light control/power passenger heated seat conversion. LEE, if you are successfull with any of this let us know! I'll be next to jump on the bandwagon.
