I would also suspect several harnesses to be different and this probably includes the main harness as well as the front engine harness. Procure a copy of the wiring diagram from the appliable HELM and compare. Asian mfgrs typically install wiring harnesses which are model specific, so I doubt that all the necessary wiring is already present in the L model vehicle.
