Well now I'm pissed, I just had the tranny mount replaced, the radiator and the hoses and now I have a coolant leak from another spot. I'm not sure what part it is that’s leaking but its a metal junction piece with a screw at the top that sits below the vacuum tree behind the center of the engine on the firewall, about 3 inches down from the cowl line. Anybody know what it is and where I can buy a new one. It’s not leaking at the hose connections it’s leaking from the top. I would post pics but my camera took a dump on me and its cramped back there so I dont think I could get a good pic any ways.

Ok I just found out its the heater control valve, its leaking from the top where the arm connects. Has anyone had theirs replaced? How hard is it to replace, looks like a tight squeeze.
I've replaced one before. You're talking about the valve that is attached to the firewall right? It's not a bad job, just be careful when reinstalling the valve, because they aren't the strongest thing in the world, and you could crack another one.

If you are going to have to replace the valve assy, now would be the time to replace the hoses as well. I would suggest that you order the tension (spring) clamps from Acura as using them makes the job much easier. The valve itself has an arrow embossed into the case indicating flow direction. You need to also either set the heater full on or off prior to install and also set the valve at either full on or off position prior to install in order to correctly reinstall the cable. When I replaced mine, I found that the new bracket on the new valve needed to be removed and the old bracket installed in its place.
