Exactly ! I'd do the same. Here's the Main Door Trigger Connector (Minus controlled !!!). It's located behind the lower door panel above the hood release. I did the same for another reason so I decided to make a seperate dimmer light for the inside the center console armrest box. Works great and easy to do that. Just a thought -Mike
