Tight fit anyone? :D

Sorry for the poor cell phone pictures, but I forgot to bring my digital. These pictures show where the damper will go. It's not tightened down in these pics because we were making some measurements for an improvement, but that will be the general orientation/placement.

We finished measuring and cinched it down and it is FOOKING AWESOME!!! The throttle response is amazing. We're all used to flooring the gas and waiting for the car to respond, not anymore :D The only thing you wait on is the G-Forces to subside so you can see clearly again! When you start the car, the engine moves about 1/8 of an inch now and then doesn't move at all. We revved it in park with the hood up and it barely moves. I wish I could see it under load, but I wouldn't imagine it moves more than at startup.

There is some increased vibration that's transmitted through the dash when you're in gear but sitting on the brakes - not enough to be annoying, but I just realized it was buzzing a bit more than normal. I would guess the MT guys wouldn't see any difference since there is no load on the drivetrain when they're stopped.

We've got one revision to do on the mounts before they'll be ready to go, but that should be in the works next week and hopefully the 2nd prototype will be ready before NALM and we can start production shortly thereafter.

Hold on to your asses guys, 'cause we got more stuff up our sleeves as well :D

I can't see clearly what you use to bolt it down?? What oem spots is it bolted to??

I am down for one. or two..maybe three..........lol j/k

Driver side firewall mount for the OEM strut brace has a secondary bracket added, rear engine hook has an insert and will have another bracket and then connect the dots. Tight fit, but it should be a fairly simple install. The kit will have everything needed for installation within 10-15 minutes.

Looks like a good mod to have! Count me in too.

Should be able to get some vids next weekend up in OK while we put Phil's coupe back together. I'm hoping we can get some video of his coupe with the engine running and then mine running with the damper on.

There are 3 options, Red, Blue, or Titanium. The red one matched the fuel rail covers I painted :2cool:

Do you think it would be feasible to engrave the LEGEND logo on it? Thanks for all the hard work and I will definitely be picking one (titanium) up when they are completed.

It's got the manufacturer's logo on it already on the body. There's a LOT of lines and wires and clutter all around the damper so it really wouldn't be that visible once installed. If it really matters to you, I can write "Legend" on yours with a Sharpie :D

Yeah - the titanium is really just silver, but apparently they have a lighter silver that is called "silver" and this slightly darker version is "titanium." I was expecting something akin to a charcoal or gunmetal when I heard titanium but no such luck. I asked for black as well but it wasn't to be either. Once we get the kits finalized, I'll snap pictures of all the colors and post them.

Other projects? Let's just say that the box 'o shit you sent me has been dropped off for the engineers to take a look at :D Should have some adjustable end links shortly and more to follow that.
