im gonna buy a used remus generic that was fitted to a coupe. will i be able to fit it onto my sedan no problem? and how does the generic compare to the legend specific?

If it was already made to fit the coupe and has the proper piping, then there shouldnt be a problem with it fitting. As far as specific and generic, there was a long discussion about that. Just go through the search function and type in Remus exhaust and see what comes up.
