My dad has a '94 Acura Legend LX (whatever the top model is) sedan. What are the specs on it? Like 0-60, quarter mile, etc. It is stock btw

There isn't any LX edition.

For the Sedans it's:
Base, L, LS, GS
Sometimes insurance places list "LL" which is an L, with optional Leather.

The GS was only available on 94-95 high end Sedan Models. They are also the only ones that carry the TypeII Engine found on the 93-95 Coupes. To tell if you have a TypeII (GS Sedan), look at the speedometer.. if it goes to 160MPH it's TypeII (140MPH is TypeI).. Also, you can tell by opening the Hood.. TypeII says.. TypeII right on the engine.

Don't have the exact times, but ChrisK knows them I am sure.

Well whatever it is, it doesn't sound to me like its the top model which was the GS Sedan which came with the Type-II engine.

It sounds to me like this is the one your dad has (nothing change performance wise from this year to '94)

If it is the high end GS Sedan then here you go

I'm pretty sure that this is for the 6 Speed Type-II Coupe

The top speeds on those are wrong though, I can confirm that at least on the coupe ;)
Speaking from experience I can also tell you that the coupes 1/4 mile time is slightly off, I got 15.4 seconds when it was completely stock.

Kkep in mind the automatic 95 Coupes also get 0-60 in 7.2, and 15.6 1/4 mile times, and I have confirmed that with my 95 in real world conditions. ALso, I have consistently been able to get 6.7 0-60 times with my 6-Speed Coupe using an idle launch, so I'm sure with a high RPM launch on the right day the 6.4 second 0-60 time is more then achievable, although very difficult for us mortal non racers :)

ChrisK I've never understood those numbers GS 0-60: 8.1 1/4: 16.3.

If i'm not mistaken the G1 161HP Coupes had times of 0-60: ~8.2secs, 1/4: ~16.4

Does that mean it's almost equally as fast as the GS Sedan?

And I know the new Civic is light (They've always been light) but the EX with 127HP clocks in around 0-60: ~8.4secs, 1/4: ~16.5

by the way those civic numbers are from Car And Driver

No, it was just a poor testing day for the car at that time. G2 TYPE I Legends have been in the 8.1, and as low as around 7.8 0-60, and the GS Sedan is much faster than that. It is more like 7.5 for the GS Sedan.

I was just about to say the same thing that Future X sait cuz on that database it seemed that the 93 LS was fater than 91 LS and than 94 GS but it doesn't make sense if the 91 &93 r 200hp and GS 230hp. So I'm glad that the GS is faster!. :D Latin......

I have these old magazines, all from 1991 (year of my car) Thought they might be intesreting, I actually scanned these in a long time ago and posted them on the forums, maybe 2 years ago.

Sports Car International, July 1991:
91 Coupe 5spd 6.99 0-60,
15.37 @ 92.0MPH

Road & Track May 1991
91 LS Auto 7.9 0-60
16.1
0.79g skidpad

Motor Tren July 1991
91 LS Auto 8.3 0-60
16.2 @ 89.6
0.83g skidpad

Consumer Reports Aug 92
91 L 5spd 7.9 0-60
16.2 @ 89

Car & Driver July 91
91 LS Auto 7.8 0-60
16.3 @ 83mph

Road & Track Feb 91
91 L 5spd 7.4 0-60
15.98 @ 91.2

Sure is a hell of a lot of variations between testers... The lightest of the group being the 91 L Sedan Manual @ 3450lbs and heaviest is the LS auto @ 3500lbs. Though my 91 I have the import slip with the weight when they shipped it says 3330lbs, 170lbs less then 3450 quoted...

93/94 LS coupes with 6 speeds were tested at between 6.3 and 7.5 seconds. One magazine got 7.3 seconds with traction control engaged, 6.3 disengaged. Another got 6.8 seconds compared with the SC300 5 speed's 6.7 seconds. Another got 7.5 seconds for a 6 speed coupe.

I've timed mine at 6 flat with gtech pro, but I have a few mods and guess I'm putting out about 265 at the crank. [Dinan says it's Stage II chip bumps Type II peak HP from 230 to 248; Kone engineering says their exhaust gets another 7-10 HP. The RM Racing intake gives me a gorgeous intake honk and probably a few HP as well. I'm curious to see what the ROAR intake will do if they decide to make a CAI for our Legends.

-17" Konig Tantrums
-CAI
-Remus Specific Exhaust
-StageII Chip
