If we were to have a nationwide meet, probably needs to be somewhere in the Midwest, like StL or Kansas City. Tulsa or Oklahoma City would be OK, too.

Kansas city Kansas for sure. I could probably spend a week just hitting BBQ joints.

I really think we should concentrate on organizing some large regional meets this year. Get some good documentation. Then next year go out and look for a sponsor for a national event.

I agree 100%. I feel like meets havn't been the greatest since the KAWF forums change. I think we should let the involvement of members in this forum go way up(We've already had 63 in less than a day) and have small local meets to get people connected and then confidence for a national meet will be built up.

Agreed!!!

I'm with ya, Dave. Let's see how everything levels out, though. Everybody's pumped right now with the new forum but I think it'll stay this way. K.C. in 2003!!!:D

sounds good to me Dave...

and the rest of you are right! Unless we pickup a sponsorship right now for this one :D

I would like to have several mini meets before the big one anyway...the one in May with Dave, Jose, and myself should prove to be a very successful event as well! Let's get it going!

Hit my LegendPendance day with your thoughts, ideas, and other important information!

Thanks again!
This is so awesome!

I still think we should have the big meet in Las Vegas. I've been down for the Supra's Nationwide (mid Sept) get together and they have participants from all over the country, you would be surprise how many folks from back East shows up; Florida, NY, Viriginia......

Vegas has so much to do, who here wouldn't mind a little gambling, shopping, site seeing, clubbing, there is something here for everyone. Rooms are pretty cheap and there are all kinda grubs to eat. Plus, we can all headout to the Vegas Raceway and run our Legends.

For me if Iam heading down to a meet, I want it to be in a city that has it going on.

Iam bias cuz I am only 6 hours away.:D

Atlanta?
If you are going there, why not get Road Atlanta for a day. It is owned by Panoz, and I hear they are pretty generous to groups. Dunno, it just sounds like fun. An oval is like the Interstate with turns! Road Atlanta would be a blast! Make sure you check you insurance before you push it there!

Ideas for LegendPendance Day

Ok guys, I need your help!

I am trying to find sponsors for our event(s).

I would like to know if you know anyone that maybe intereste3d in sponsoring a part of the event or the whole thing (more visibility).

I need to know through this poll which LegendPendance region you plan to go to.

I need to know if you are interested in going to a racetrack (Southeast region) or a casino (west/Tri-State regions).

Aaahhhhh...now, all of these responsibilities would mean I need to elect a co-founder to run and develop the (A) West Coast chapters, (B) Tri-State chapters and (C) Midwest/Pacific chapters.

If you are interested in these kinds of responsibilities, please shoot me an email, or post here. I also need you to keep in mind that a co-founder of LL CC is a person (man or woman) that takes a certain pride in what they do, and is self-motivated. Try to find ways to help in the community, and bring members as much advantage of being a member as possible. We will set you up with email accounts, business cards, and instruct you on where to purchase your LLCC logo (how better to recruit other Legend Enthusiasts?) to name a few.

This is a big event, and Iwant the WORLD to know JUST HOW MANY LEGEND ENTHUSIASTS THERE REALLY ARE...so guys, ante up on these polls, so we can really see whats going on....and I must say wehave had an overwhelming response on the LegendPendance Day website, but I need to be able to show tis to anyone at a glance...helps marketing the idea of a sponsor...know what I mean?

Sorry for the long post, guys, but this is not your everyday rambling ;)

Happy Motoring!
