Well I got my Legend a little over a week ago, and i have already had to tow it to the shop because of overheating problems. There was a bad relay, and the radiator fan sensor wasn't working, and on top of that it was simply thirsty for coolant. And I am almost positive the Bose amp is also bad, which sucks because I want to keep the stock system, and i knwo its not too much of a hassle replacing the amp. I was wondering if you guys think that just comes with old age or if you think it was bound to happen anyway. Check out the CarFax Report (I just copied an pasted)

you got an old ass car for one. relays and switches all that crap goes bad with age...watch out for that damn main relay too.

you might want to check on why your car is low on coolant...possible leak somewhere maybe?

not a hassle to replace the amp, just make sure you get the right amp the 200w amp...you can get one off ebay for cheap..and im sure there might be some for sale on the forums too. i'd go aftermarket, but thats just me!

put in perspective of what you're trying to say... if it used all the coolant to cool the engine down... then why would it overheat?

if ur not mechanically inclined i say get rid of it. it seems as though the car you bought was neglected maintenance wise. from your description there seems to be the making of a blown head gasket. if your seeing white smoke outta your tail pipes your burning antifreeze.

from your pics it looks as though the body and interior are in very good shape. so maybe its worth keeping till you can afford an engine swap?
