Ivan's shoulder bolts came in yesterday in the morning, so i thought it would be a good idea to install them along with my SPC front ball joints.
installation of both went pretty smooth. sway bar bolts were easy to do with you disconnected both endlink of the control arm.
here's a comparison of the two bolts
installed:
the SPC ball joints were just as easy to install. both of my old ball joints were in terrible shape, i forgot to snap a pic, I was getting steering wheel vibrations, although very slight, some is always worse then non.
getting the ball joints out was a walk in the park with a ball joint tool.
here's it installed, unadjusted:
I set them to -.5 on both side's, the steering feels about the same as b4 with -1.5. I found that i can easily adjust it to 0 degree's and -1.5 with out the need for a alignment rack. the -.5 however is almost impossible b/c you can't actually see the alignment marks on the top control arm, oh well.
