Hi.. alright I'm a newbe and i have a dumb question.

The front corner lights on my 1994 coupe do not seem to ever be on. (the clear ones right next to the headlight assemblies. (the amber ones next to them on the sides work).

(1) when should these lights be on (eg with parklights, or with low beams,)

(2) what is the best way to get to these bulbs to diagnose (popped hood but cannot get to bulb)

Thanks

tom

The clear portion of the corner and the amber portion both come on when the parking lights are tuned on. When you signal, only the amber portion blinks. You simply have two burnt out bulbs that just happened you be both of the clear bulbs. The only way to access the bulbs if by removing the corner light. To do this, you open the hood and remove the phillips screw holding in the corner llight. Now, you simple pull the corner light straight forward toward the front of the car, do not pry sideways. It will be fairly tight, so some people use a flat head screwdriver with a piece of cloth wraped around the tip and pry between the back end of the corner and the fender, pulling the corner straight forward.
