Does any one know if a flywheel from a prelude or v6 accord will fit our 2.7l motor?

I don't know if they fit, but I do know a company that can lighten and balance a flywheel. KMS engine development. Go to hondaracingstores.com They charge around 125 and they say they can get the weight down to 10lbs.

i thought thats not safe to do just like brakes you can only turn the so much?

if it is possible i can get my hands on a brake layth.

the weight of the flywheel gives the engine inertia, it makes a manual trans easy to shift. The flywheel is actually a cheap and simple way to store energy, rotating energy. the engine will rev faster but will also wind down faster also which will make daily driving more fun or challenging.

im gunna take my flywheel down and have it turned maybe it will take off a few pounds

so the flywheel is at the shop now $70 and shell be like new BUT lighter
