(when he couldn't drive I WON by a haf a car)

Dodge Durango lossed by .75 - 1 car

(dont ask me how I though I was gonna win)

I got INJEN filter on stock intake piping and a Muffler (auto)
people swear I got NOS or something hehe (I really dont, YET)

Driving around midnight last to meet up with Jose at Fridays, i was at a stop light and a VW GTI VR6 pulled up next to me trying to race...it was about even until i hit 3rd gear and i just started pulling away on him...at the next set of light he pulled up and his boy in shotgun rolled down his window and was like " ahhh man that was cool, i didnt know those Legends got up like that...i dont want anymore" those were his exact words. i was pretty surprised myself i thought the vr6 would probly take me. just another kill for my coupe to add to my list:)

hey from what ive seen the INJEN intakes give like 15 to 17 hp on some cars (celica, etc i think, according to their magazie ads backed up by dyno charts)....do you have any idea what you it gives you?

i got a couple questios for you guys:

1. if you put a Dragon filter or any other, on a no-name brand intake tube what it still give you the same gain as puttin on the whole intake system??

2. what would be better an, INJEN filter on a 3" intake or a WR Dragon filter??? or is there anything better?? like K&N etc?

if all intake tubes give the same hp gain ill just get a cheap one off ebay or importtoyz and put on a good filter right? whats the point of buying the whole intake systems then for more $$$$ ??

HEY

Those damn durangos are fast. I have a 94L and I BARELY took one on a merge. I was really surprised. But I had a bad start. One where I was like, Wait! They are flooring it! So I think with a good start you should had no problem, but yeah they are quicker than I though. I raced the one with the big v8 thingie....

Accord V6's like to mess w/ me, but lose constantly
3 LT1 Z28's; one from 40mph up, 2 from 20mph up
Numerous trucks; including a 5.9R/T
Couple GTP's; 2 door and 4 door
Couple GTI VR6's

Lost:
Modded GTP
Modded New Stang GT
Firebird Formula LT1
(I usually dont race if I know I'll lose)
Dad's CL-S

Kept dead even w/ an Auto M3 from like 50 - 120
Kept dead even w/ RSX-S w/ intake exhaust

This is all in my 94 GS 6-speed. Bone stock. 150k miles. Too bad I'm getting rid of it :(

I never do drag races because the Legend is heavy and does not have low end.

However, the high end of the 3.2 makes high way killz successful.

acceleration from 0-80 isn't fast, but 80 - 120 is relatively quick. Our cars have so much high end that its scary!!!


Here is the list of high way kills.
Audi TT, A6, A6 Avant, Audi 2.8, BMW 318, 323, 328, 528, 530, RSX, GS-R, Si-R (canadian Si), TL, RL, Prelude, Subaru 2.5, Dodge Ram, Mustang Base, Camaro Base, Neon, Cadallic

I prefer Injen, if they make intakes for our car, because they have a cleaner look, as oppose to the "AzN" look. The tubes are all the same basically. It is usually the filter that makes the differnce. If you want, you can buy a kit from ebay, and replace the filter element with a K&N unit, or WR, or whatever you want.

But some say that Injen's tube are precisely measured to give the best flow.....

Injen is the ****

I got the Injen filter from my boyz 240, the stock 240 lost to the Legend by 10-15 cars, no lie, I thought he stopped racing... from that day his goal was to beat me, the INJEN COLD AIR and a 300zx TT fuel filter and fuel pump made out last race bumper to bumper, all that gave him 8-13 cars... and the weight reduction of no carpet and tools and spare tire, all taken out of the trunk...
P.S. go with an INJEN filter or an HKS mushrooom filter... weapon R sounds to ricey I wouldnt trust the filter... and BTW those 5.4 or whatever DURANGOS RUN... oh I had the factory intake back on when that happend so with intake I would take him...
add to my killz and stock GTPand a loss to an RSX type S

RSX Type-S? They have good speed at 1st and 2nd gear. Those things aren't as fast as the Legend on the highway.

Was it the Drivers Edition??

I know those are fast... my buddies brother has one and it flys. I have yet to race him but I want to sooo bad because he is a cocky F#$K. He says he has 240hp stock:rolleyes:

umm im not sure if it was the drivers edition, i dont believe it was though.240 hp stock? i doubt that, i find that kinda hard to believe. but im not sure.

I know.... he and his brother a pathalogical liars to the extreme. I know in stock form they have 170hpv6. He just likes to brag about it like it is a ferrari or something. I know it does not push that kinda juice because a car like that would run 10second 1/4 miles with some simple mods....:rolleyes:
