I read this on the Acura website where they were talking about the TL Type S's sport tuned suspension
and longer bumper stops give the TL Type S a sportier feel.
Do you guys think that this makes any sense? How do the bump stops affect the car if you aren't bottoming out? And why would you ever want to hit the bump stops?

That doesn't make any sense.. The reason the bump stop is there is to prevent the shock from fully compressing and damaging it. Hitting the bump stop in the first place is bad, so I have no clue why having a longer bump stop is going to affect anything .. ???

longer bumpstops would help during cornering because the shock would compress but not all the way causing the car to dip down more it hold it very stiff but it would suck. i dono why anyone would do it but i dono im just guessing.

Doesn't the car make a wierd noise when you hit the bump stops anyways? I think that anything that makes a wierd noise can't be good for the car .
